M+W Dental is one of the largest mail order companies for dental supplies in German-speaking countries. The product range covers over 24,000 items that are sold via regularly published catalogues and an online shop. M+W guarantees a next working day delivery for all orders submitted before 5 p.m.
M+W Dental are extending their customer base steadily and have expanded their sales internationally. To maintain a high standard of order processing and product supply, M+W has assigned Pierau Planung with the task of optimizing current logistic processes. Key objectives of the planning were the extension of storage capacity, the increase in storage locations in the order-picking warehouse and identifying ways to increase dispatch capacity. The identified measures were then developed into a concept with phased periods of implementation. |
